Our stay at Lawak Bakasyunan was peaceful, and we’d happily return. It’s clean, quiet, and relaxing, with a new room, a strong bidet, and very cold air conditioning. White Beach or HK is only a five-minute walk away. The caretaker was very friendly, and the warm, friendly woman at the sari sari store outside was lovely too. They offer food for 150 pesos, IIRC. If I could, I’d give them 10 stars.

The staff were easy to approach, and there’s a huge parking area, which made things convenient. The beach is very close, too. When heavy rain started while we were grilling, the staff quickly moved the griller under a roof so we could stay dry. Check-in was hassle-free, and our room and bathroom were very clean. The accommodation was comfortable and decent.

We got a discounted rate for the family room, and there was lots of space and free parking. The room and private CR were clean, and the staff were friendly. Very recommendable.

The room itself was good, and the AC worked great, but there was no warm water or blankets. The karaoke was super loud and seemed to go on all the time, starting early in the morning, so sleeping in on holiday was never possible.

We found this place when looking for a cheap vacant rental for our second night in Moalboal, since we hadn’t booked ahead. The price was low because the room’s aircon wasn’t working. It was clean, had towels and slippers in the room, and the staff were okay. It’s a five-minute walk to the beach, there’s parking, and the area isn’t very noisy. I’d recommend it, just make sure you book a room with AC.
