Moonbay Marina The Villas

The only drawback was hearing music from nearby places. It wasn't very loud, but it was noticeable. We booked two nights at Moonbay Marina Villas in Subic Bay, right in the Subic Downtown Walking District. The villas are close to plenty of bars and restaurants. Our room was spacious, with good AC, a hot shower, and complimentary coffee and water. Wi-Fi was available in the room and around the pool and breakfast area, and parking was free. Breakfast was included, with Filipino and Western options, and the large pool was refreshing after a day of travel. We paid $65 USD per night through Agoda and felt the location and value were well worth it. We'd stay here again when we're back in Subic.

It was much better than I expected, and we had no complaints. It's amazing how some people leave negative comments.

The team made us feel welcome throughout our stay, from the front desk and maintenance to security, housekeeping, and the lifeguard. The lifeguard was especially attentive all day, keeping watch on swimmers and taking care of the pool area, tables, and chairs. That was reassuring with kids around. Our villa was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a handy little kitchen that made traveling as a family easier. The rooms do feel a bit dated, and a few things could use maintenance, including the rainfall shower head and some outlets, but it didn't spoil the stay. We were right in front of the pool, which made it easy and stress-free for the kids to get to. We also loved being able to order food and drinks from Cafe Azul at the table outside our unit. Cafe Azul was a highlight. Everything we tried was delicious, and the service was warm, attentive, and professional. We often chose to eat there instead of going out. Moonbay Marina Villas is conveniently located within walking distance of shopping, with easy access to the rest of Subic. The front desk arranged taxis without trouble. We had a very pleasant stay and would gladly return, especially with family.

The location made it easy to reach nearby attractions, while the resort still felt peaceful. There's a nice view, plenty of food and drinks to choose from, and it felt like good value for money. It's child-friendly and seemed suited to families, couples, or solo travelers. I had a wonderful stay at Moonbay Marina Leisure Resort. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable after a day out, and the staff were friendly, accommodating, and ready to help. It was a relaxing place to unwind and spend time with loved ones. Highly recommended.
