The bedsheets had stains, and that was the deal breaker for us. The room also smelled odd when we first entered, as if it hadn’t been used in a while. Though it was big and cozy, it looked old and overdue for renovation: parts of the ceiling were dilapidated, some walls had marks, and tiles were cracked. The shower pressure was weak too. There were plenty of useful things for a staycation: a gas range, refrigerator, dishwashing supplies, cookware and dinnerware, plus hot and cold showers. The A/C worked well in every room and the living room, and the kids had space to run around. Parking was free, but first come, first served. There were no spoons, though that wasn’t a big deal for us since we brought plastic ones. I think you could ask the front desk, since we got a steam kettle when we requested one.

My church has used this place on mission trips from the US to the Manilla area, and I’d recommend it for the clean suites and especially the great service from the guys in the Lobby. They know what you need and where to find it. Thanks to Ricky, Lito, and the other hard-working front desk guys! These “rooms” feel more like apartments than a regular hotel, with kitchens, tables and chairs, nice beds, LCD TVs, good internet wifi speed, and A/C that keeps them cool. I’ve heard some guests stay for as long as a year. It’s not set up like a typical U.S. hotel, hence “Condotel.” The owners have a couple of these style hotels, so they know what they’re doing.

You get a really big room for a lower price. It’s well ventilated and has a heater, and they provide some kitchen utensils so you can cook.
