The quiet, comfortable feel of Casa Cecilia and its clean, well-kept facilities made our stay lovely. Breakfast was a highlight: the authentic Taal delicacies were delicious and brought back childhood memories. Nino welcomed us warmly at the front desk, and John John was just as kind and accommodating when we checked out. You can tell the staff care about their guests. We’d happily return to Casa Cecilia in Taal Batangas.

The room was a letdown for what we paid for one night, and the Wi-Fi was really awful. The location is amazing, though, and the ambience was beautiful. The food was impeccable.

I wouldn’t stay here again. The room was run down, with old furniture and dirty bedding, and the complimentary breakfast was horrible. I’d paid for three nights but left after one. Despite several calls, they still haven’t credited me for the other two nights, so I’m now disputing the charge with my credit card company.

The place is clean and decent, with nice rooms for the price and friendly staff. My reason for giving it three stars is the night staff: after 10pm, they wouldn’t let us sit in the garden or anywhere else in the hotel.

It was clean, but when we visited there wasn’t much food available. We ordered the house-special Casa whatever pansit, and it was terribly salty. The place feels a little old and remote, so if you’re after solitary confinement, I guess it might suit you. Just don’t expect a lot. The food and service also felt a bit expensive.
