Hotel Valencia

The on-site restaurant had good food, and the room had a garden door, a good bathroom, a big TV, and good air conditioning. We got a garden room on the lower floor for P1200 through agoda, an impossible price for such a large room. At that rate, there’s not much to complain about.

We’ve stayed here many times and it used to be OK, but this visit was bad. The room was extremely dusty, set off my allergies, and kept me from sleeping well. Breakfast was awful: it ended at 9am, yet by 8am the food was stale and hadn’t been replenished. The rice was hard, the garlic rice was gone, the coffee tasted really sour, and the watermelon seemed old, possibly kept in storage for a long time. Even the tiny pandesal felt like a joke. We barely ate anything. We won't return. There are better, newer options in Valencia.

After the long drive from Cagayan de Oro City to Valencia, I was too tired to take photos, but the room was well worth the price. It was big and spacious for what I paid, with two beds, a closet, and a working CR with hot and cold showers. It seemed to have all the amenities you'd need for a stay. The hotel looks old, though perhaps it's been in business in Valencia City for a long time.

I always stay here when passing through Valencia City because it’s good value for the money. It has AC, hot water, and easy parking. It could be a bit cleaner, but it’s good enough for me.
