Urbanview @ Stay Inn Style Hotel Vigan

Everything downtown was within walking distance, which made the location great. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were wonderful, and the Wi-Fi worked well. I had a lovely stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vigan City.

The room’s double bed was comfortable for sleeping, and the basics were there, including toiletries, a towel, and slippers. They also provide an inventory with prices for the room’s contents, so you know what damage might cost at checkout. The complimentary breakfast was coffee and a pastry, a reasonably sized cinnamon bun when I visited. The bathroom had good water pressure, but it was tiny and water could splash out of the shower stall. There was barely any counter space by the sink, just a couple of inches. Soundproofing wasn’t great. I think most noise came through the door from the corridor, where you could see a gap between the door and jamb when the lights were off, rather than from neighboring rooms or the street. I expected regular TV channels, but could only figure out YouTube. The food in my photo was bought outside, a couple of blocks away, but it gives an idea of how little table or counter space the room had.

The owner was very accommodating, and the staff took good care of us. We stayed overnight when the hotel had only been operating for a week. It was newly built and very clean.

A simple place to sleep while visiting Vigan Province in Ilocos Sur. The room was very clean, service was good, and the internet worked well. There was also hot water. The staff were very kind, five-star hotel! 😃🤩👍
