Byarsa Hotel Skardu

We booked two nights after seeing the lovely Instagram photos, and paid the full amount in advance. The food and rooms were below par for the five-star price. We couldn’t stay the second night because I had a severe allergic reaction to something in the hotel. Management wasn’t helpful and refused to refund that night. A very disappointing find. Travellers, beware.

The food is the best part, you won’t find anything better here. The rooms are luxurious and the atmosphere is great. Best hotel in this area, highly recommended.

Across our trip through Baltistan, this was one of the best of the five hotels we stayed in, each considered among the best in its area. Our travel operator, 93 Travellers and Tours, backed the choice, and the service was top notch. We had an excellent room too. I’d call it a lovely four-star hotel. To make it five-star, it would need more facilities, such as a gym, pool, sauna, and games rooms. If someone says it’s pricey, I’d ask them to show me a better hotel in this area for the same price. There isn’t one.

The team at BYARSA Hotel Skardu were friendly, professional, and helpful the whole time. We even got a complimentary room upgrade, which made the trip more enjoyable. Excellent experience, highly recommended!
