Our room was in the annex, and it was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We were checked in promptly, too. Hotel 1231 is in a charming area, while still being conveniently close to the town centre. It’s a beautiful place, and we’d definitely recommend it.

The food was a highlight, especially their homemade beef dripping, and the spa was fantastic. Our rooms were spotless, and the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout. We were a family of five, and everything had been thoughtfully prepared before we arrived, including a baby bed. Hotel 1231 is within walking distance of everything in the city. Our stay went smoothly, and I’d highly recommend it for a visit to Toruń, even if you have high expectations.

My car was scratched in the hotel parking lot, which they regard as a nearby public parking space. I asked reception to check the CCTV footage, but they refused and said I’d have to come back with the police for access to the cameras. As a visitor to the city, that was especially frustrating. I found the reception team completely unhelpful and expected more support as a foreign guest. If you’re coming to this hotel, consider taking the bus. If you drive, be prepared for local drivers possibly scratching your car, and don’t expect the hotel staff to help identify who did it.

The hotel was really nice, but a large heating and cooling unit right beside our window hummed loudly all night.

We were lucky to get an upgrade when we arrived, and the room was large and lovely. The hotel is modern and neat, set in beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was good too. 😊
