The landlady was very nice, and the place was clean. Still, five nights felt like too long for such a tiny, low room. I'm only 171cm, and I couldn't stand upright in the bath to shower because the boiler hangs right above it. The kitchenette description was misleading too: there was a microwave, kettle, tea and coffee, but no sink or cooker, so making breakfast wasn't really possible unless you fancied boiling eggs in the microwave. Fine for one night, but not a week.

The bathroom is so low you have to watch your head when standing up. The room itself is tiny and dusty, with dust floating in the air. It felt like some had got into my mouth.

The room had a strong Polish highlander feel, and the host made us feel very welcome. A perfect place to stay in zakopane.
