HI Castelo Branco - Pousada de Juventude - Hostel

The breakfast buffet was a lovely surprise, with bread, toast, fruit, cereal, yogurt, cheese, ham and a coffee machine. It was generous for a hostel. I just wish it started before 8:30. My only real problem was a noisy roommate, which wasn’t the hostel’s fault. The place is clean, very tidy and a good price, with professional, helpful staff. The entrance is unusual and tucked at the back, but you can find it. A safe choice, highly recommend.

We had a great day here as a group. The staff were friendly and let us leave our bags at reception before check-in, and the building was in great condition. Our clean, tidy room fit four comfortably, and the showers had really hot water, though two of the four were out of order. The eating area was cozy too.

After coming to Portugal, I had my finger date on February 5. I was in your portu, 300 km from home, and had a safe, so I booked the hotel the day before. It was excellent: the wedding beer was excellent, breakfast was included and excellent too, and the service was simply excellent. Castelo Branco
