Casa Dos Aromas - Heritage & Comfort

Casa dos Aromas is housed in a building that once served as the city’s main soap and detergent factory. A place of natural raw materials and scents that filled the air. Today, that legacy has not been erased—it has been transformed. The aromas linger in a subtle, contemporary way. They no longer signal production; they invite rest. They no longer set the pace of work; they slow the pace of those who arrive. More than just an aparthotel, Casa dos Aromas is a place where history is felt. In the details, in the atmosphere, and in the way the senses are carefully embraced. It is a home that preserves memories and transforms them into well-being. Imagine waking up in a retreat in the historic heart of Coimbra, where every detail has been designed for your comfort without losing the building’s soul. The apartments at Casa dos Aromas combine traditional charm with contemporary design—natural light embraces you from the living room to the sleeping area. Take a few steps and you’ll be by the Mondego River, Portugal dos Pequenitos, and the hills that make Coimbra a unique city. The fully equipped kitchenette gives you the freedom to live like a local, not just a visitor. The living room invites you to relax after a day of exploring medieval alleys or traditional cafés. Rooms that turn every night into a delightful respite. The place where history and comfort meet, perfect for both extended stays and memorable getaways. Casa dos Aromas is experiencing Coimbra with all your senses and aromas!
