Behotelisboa

We had a lovely five-day stay at behotelisboa, and I'd put it high on my list for a future visit to Lisbon. The breakfast had plenty of tasty options, and they even prepared huge breakfast packages for us when we had to leave early for the airport. That was such a thoughtful surprise. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with a modern bathroom and all the amenities we needed. It had AC, a safe, and a coffee machine, plus good Wi-Fi. The bed was comfortable and came with three pillows per person. If you're staying longer and need more wardrobe space, ask for room 407. We were in room 408, which was high above the street and away from the lift, so it was especially quiet. The hotel is central but on a fairly quiet street. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and welcomed us with port wine and sweets. They also left green apples at reception for guests every day.

We were mostly out exploring Lisbon, so what mattered to us was having a clean, safe, comfortable place to come back to. Behotelisboa worked well for that. Our room was clean, the bathroom was great, and the bed was comfortable. It was a good price for a last-minute trip. The town centre can be noisy until around 11:30 or midnight, but closing the windows kept it from bothering us. We didn't use the hotel's other features. The location made it easy to get to the coast and public transport, with lots of restaurants nearby, including well-known Lisbon eateries and bakeries. My wife eats plant-based, and within 10-15 minutes we found plenty of places with lively vegan and vegetarian menus. Many other restaurants had options too. The staff were super friendly, polite, and helpful. They helped me plan a surprise for my wife in our room, which we really appreciated, and gave us useful advice about trips, excursions, and where to go for what we needed. For our first trip to Lisbon, I'd recommend the hotel.

We loved our stay in the heart of Lisbon's Old Town and would definitely come back. The room was very nice, kept clean, and had fresh towels each day. There was no air conditioning, though, so it got very hot. We could open the two big windows, but then the street noise came in. On arrival they greeted us with a glass of wine and a pastel de natal, which was a lovely touch.

The rooms were just okay, nothing special, but perfectly fine. The staff really went above and beyond, even arranging a full birthday cake and sharing good local suggestions while we were there.
