Hotel Botanico

The price is what really surprised me. It seemed almost too good to be true, but the value was real. The staff were friendly and efficient, and our room was spacious, clean, and in good condition. The hotel sits up a hill, which is part of Lisbon, and the location is great.

We booked at the last minute for a short stopover in the city and were allowed to check in early, which helped a lot. The staff were polite and friendly, and the room was comfortable. The location was great too. Really good value, and I'd definitely come back.

A couple of nearby cafes are good for a quick espresso and pastry, and the hotel breakfast is convenient, though a bit expensive. The location is peaceful, yet only minutes from downtown and major transit points like Rossio station. My room was clean, modern, and spacious enough for one or two people. The staff were friendly and accommodating. My only room-specific drawback was being near an older, noisy elevator.

The view from our bedroom window was stunning. It's a quiet part of the city, but still walkable, and we enjoyed heading to Barrio Alto and other neighbourhoods from here. The room was spotless and reception staff were very helpful. The hotel is on a hill, so with luggage I'd suggest taking a Bolt taxi when you check in.
