The units are very well equipped, and the service was friendly and really helpful. The sauna and jacuzzi were included, and our top-floor apartment had a great view. I’d recommend it 💯.

The bed was good, the view excellent, and the location convenient. But for what the hotel charges, the service was poor. We stayed three nights and, despite asking several times, our room was never cleaned. Housekeeping offered around 4 pm one day, even though we’d put the “Please make my room” sign out at 9 am. By then it was so late that we declined. We also tried the pool after being told it was safe to use just after cleaning. Within five minutes our eyes were burning badly, so we got out and complained. It turned out the cleaning wasn’t finished and the chlorine level was much too high. Nobody had checked before letting guests in. The burning lasted long afterward, and we had to consult a healthcare professional. Absolutely shameful. The bathroom sealant was in poor shape, and we found a small dead cockroach in there too.

The apartments are roomy and have everything you need, and the spa is a nice extra after a day tackling the city’s hills and stairs. Breakfast in the morning had plenty to choose from and kept us going for a busy day. It’s a lovely little hotel right in the city center, with great views over the landscape.

We felt at home from the moment we arrived at Castello Prime Suites. Our room wasn’t ready, but the team offered us breakfast and drinks instead of leaving us to wait. The room was spacious and spotless, with a lovely balcony and a beautiful view over Lisbon’s old town. The bed was very comfortable, it stayed pleasantly cool in summer, and we got fresh towels every day. There was also a well-equipped little kitchenette with a great fridge. Before we arrived, the team sent a WhatsApp message with useful information and directions from the airport. Everyone was warm, helpful, and accommodating. Whatever we asked for, they handled it kindly and personally. Breakfast was simple, fresh, and delicious, with an amazing view from the terrace. It’s a small, cozy, personal hotel in a central location, ideal if you like a peaceful, intimate place over a large chain. The value for money was outstanding. We’re sure to come back, and we’ll tell family and friends planning a Lisbon trip about it. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
