The one bright spot was the really nice guy at reception. The hostel is far from the city, there are no obvious signs showing where it is, and the kitchen and bathroom were dirty. The area seemed rather immigrant-heavy.

The bathrooms were awful, with fungus, and the halls were dark. Rooms were noisy, and the staff weren’t friendly. This place is disgusting. Not worth it, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The private double room was clean and good value, and the staff were nice. The location is decent, though getting to the old town meant taking a tram, which makes sense with all the hills in the city.

The playful dogs made the place feel homey, and everyone was so helpful. The rooms and dorms were great too. This place is fantastic.

The hostel was clean, and the two guys running it were really friendly. It’s an okay, easy place to stay in Lisbon, and I’d recommend it to low-budget travelers.
