The balcony was the one redeeming part of our room, looking out over Restauradores. Most other rooms apparently don't have that view. The price was cheap, if that's what matters to you. On arrival, expect to be sent to a nearby building because they may not have enough rooms. The owner, a gruff Scandinavian man, seemed a bit suspect, and the apartment was dirty. The room was the bare minimum. I've slept in worse, but not by much.
We booked ahead, but ended up waiting outside overnight because the staff had fallen asleep and nobody opened the main door. I called several times and got no answer. They advertise free Wi-Fi, but there wasn't any. The staff were very rude, and on checkout day they charged extra, saying their system wasn't updated even though the online booking showed something else. There was no proper fan, and the phone charging sockets didn't work properly.
Not a suitable place for families. It might be okay for one person staying a single night, but the place was filthy and stank. The Bengali staff member, Shyam, was very unprofessional.
Clean and very nice for the price, with restaurants just downstairs.
Dirty and horrible. The only good thing is the location.
