The room matched its description and photos, and the windows brought in lots of daylight. Closing the wooden panels gave us full privacy. Staff were friendly and attentive, and reached out before we arrived with transport options and to check we had what we needed. We asked about an early check-in, which they said they could try but couldn’t promise. We were exhausted after 13 hours of travel, so we were delighted they could show us to the room early. The location, room, and staff were all excellent. It was our first time in Lisbon, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Ask for a room on the 4th floor if you’d like balcony views. The front desk staff were amazing, checking in on how our day went and what we’d explored. The location made it easy to walk to attractions, restaurants, and coffee spots. We were so sad to leave this beautiful apartment, our favorite stay while traveling through Spain and Portugal.

Villa Baixa was one of the best hospitality experiences we’ve had, and we highly recommend it. The location puts you right in the middle of everything, yet the rooms were surprisingly quiet. Everything was walkable, and the rooms were beautiful, practical, and very well kept. From smooth check-in to useful local tips, the service and attention to detail were excellent. They even sent a cake with candles to our room for my daughter’s birthday, which was such a thoughtful surprise.

The receptionist was so nice and helpful with recommendations. The place was stunning, and I only wish I could’ve stayed more than one night. I’ll definitely return to Lisbon and stay here again.

They even mailed us the things we’d left behind. The people here were friendly and quick to help with any questions, staying in touch appropriately from before we arrived until the end. Our unit was in perfect condition, and Villa Baixa has an excellent central location in Lisbon’s old town. We loved it and highly recommend staying here. The picture shows the central location circled.
