We booked the cheapest private room with its own bathroom for two people in the area. The furniture was basic but decent, and the room was clean and quiet for sleeping, with not many people around. There's a shared kitchen with a fridge for storing food and dishes for cooking. Nearly all the landmarks are a short walk away, and the reception staff were really nice and polite. There's a 24-hour reception, and the location is excellent. The fourth floor has no elevator, but that wasn't a big problem for us. For the price, it was very good value, and the rooms were clean. The only small thing is that they could offer free coffee or tea, or at least put a kettle in the room. Just a minor suggestion.

My wife and I loved our stay. The building is old-fashioned, with five floors to climb to reach the hostel reception, but inside it was extremely clean and smelled good. It's right in the center, next to Rua Augusta and lots of restaurants. Our host was pleasant, young and responsible.

The breakfast was pretty simple, and there was only one bathroom and toilet for the whole corridor, so there can be a queue. Still, it's a good place to stay in central Lisbon.

For a hostel, it was pretty fine overall. The rooms are small and the shower is a bit beat up. They sometimes had electricity problems when someone was cooking while somebody else had a blow dryer running.

Cheap and clean, with a comfortable bed and a perfect location. It's good if all you need is a room to sleep in at night.
