Lisbon Top Hostel

The four-bed women's room was extremely tiny and airless, and the bunk beds creaked badly whenever anyone moved. The receptionist was lovely, and the rooms and linens were fresh and clean. Finding the place was easy because they sent clear instructions, even though there's no sign outside. I had specifically asked about a hair dryer and was told there was one, but it seemed to be misplaced, with no spare. A hair dryer in each room, or a backup, would help. With my short hair, I need one, and I had to leave early on a cold morning. After searching around, there was no one available to ask, so I left with wet hair. Really annoying.

The older building doesn't block noise very well, and the top bunks need curtains like the lower ones have. The place was clean and well kept, with fresh bedding, a big common area, and free tea and coffee. The receptionist was really kind.

The location was perfect, just a three-minute walk from Parque station, and the place was really clean. This was my first solo trip and my first hostel stay. I was lucky to find friendly people there, including the staff and receptionist. Even after my 11am checkout, she let me use the lounge and kitchen. She was understanding and accommodating. I'll definitely come back when I'm in Lisbon again!

The room was a little too small, but there are lots of shared spaces. The staff were really friendly and helpful. One woman at reception went out of her way to help me, and I really appreciated it. As a woman travelling solo for the first time, that made my day.
