The rooms were cosy, and the staff were nice. We arrived late and none of us spoke Portuguese, but they welcomed us with a smile. The hostel is very close to the Metro, handy if you have a long connecting flight in Lisbon. WiFi is a bonus, and you can buy beer and other drinks from the hostel fridge for next to nothing.

We stayed five nights and found everything clean. The staff treated us well, and the place is right by restauradores place. Nice place, recommended.

The price is very reasonable, though this is a very old guesthouse. My only issue was the lack of heating. The room gets pretty cold in winter.

We made a reservation, but when we arrived she switched us to another hotel.
