We were a bit nervous after reading all the mixed reviews, but for what we paid, our stay was great. It's a basic place without much fuss, which is exactly what we wanted after traveling through Europe. The location is amazing, and while the room and breakfast are both simple, they were clean and breakfast was enough to get the day started.

For a few days in Lisbon, this worked out very well. My room was tiny but cozy and perfectly clean. You can hear other guests arriving, leaving, and walking along the corridor, though I wouldn't call it noisy. Don't count on much help at reception beyond getting your keys and paying. Breakfast was good enough, with limited choice. There wasn't an iron, which is odd for a hotel, but the description didn't promise one, so that's fair.

We asked to move rooms because of the noise and the awful bathroom, but they refused without explaining or trying to help. The bathroom had blackened grout and mold all over the ceiling, just disgusting and unsanitary. The room door was so thin that hallway sounds and light came straight in. We could even hear the neighbors breathing, so getting any rest was out of the question. The staff couldn't be bothered to smile or say hello. We felt like our presence was a nuisance.

You can get some sleep here for a reasonable price, and that's about it. My stay was okay, but I doubt I'll come back.

The location was great, and breakfast in the morning was a nice extra. I had a nice stay.
