I didn’t stay overnight, just used the place for the day before my night flight. They let me shower, have breakfast, leave my bag there all day, and use the bathroom before I left. The bathroom was clean and the room was okay. Prices were good, almost free for the services, and I’d expected to pay more than twice as much. Breakfast choices were limited. It’s right by the train station and within walking distance of the main attractions. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, and gave me tips for spending the day in the city. Thank you very much.

This hostel, also called Residencia Oliveira, Welcome Family Guest House, and Welcome New Family Guest House, was the worst I’ve ever stayed in. The room was damp and smelly, with worn furniture and dirty blankets. Water had formed on the walls from the humidity, and there was no heating. The toilet and shower were squeezed together, with the shower in the toilet and the toilet in the shower, so one blocked the other. If you’re over 180 cm, it’s impossible to move around in there. The doors were cheap folding ones with no locks, and the walls were peeling. Horrible place. Don’t even think about staying there!

Good location, and at just 12 EUR a night, the low price makes it okay. About 200 meters from the apartment, there’s a place where you can get a starter, main course, drink, dessert, and coffee for 5 EUR total.

The location was good, but our room had hardly any ventilation and smelled like fungus. The bathroom smelled terrible too, and it wasn’t very clean.
