The Lift Boutique Hotel by RIDAN Hotels

The room was clean, good value and had everything we needed for a two-day stay. The location was great, and breakfast was tasty with really good coffee. Many thanks to Louise at reception and Mariza at breakfast for their efficient, excellent service 🥰

For our last night in Lisbon, we were glad we chose this place. We got an upgrade to a suite with amazing city views, and loved the space and decor. The bed was very comfortable, and three staff members greeted us warmly. Shops, restaurants and landmarks like the Santa just a lift and Carmo monastery are close by. The elevator moved very slowly and didn't open on our floor, so we had to go to the fourth floor and walk down. That was nerve-racking. I wish we'd had more time to enjoy the suite. Would definitely recommend.

We booked four nights, but the bathroom pipes were blocked from the very first day. We told the front desk straight away. The staff were polite and said someone would fix it the next day, but nothing had changed by the second night, and later we were told they couldn't find anyone to repair it. The manager had just returned from her holiday by the third night. She was very polite and offered us another room of the same type. At last, after two days of flights and two nights of trouble, we could take a normal shower.

The location is good, but I won't book here again. The room was tiny, and the old carpet smelled really strong as soon as I opened the door. Even with the windows open, there was no escaping it. They faced a wall with several AC units that were loud and blew hot air.
