TURIM Lisboa Hotel

The location was a real plus, with an easy walk to Avenida da Liberdade, a large El Corte Ingles about five minutes away, and lots of restaurants nearby. Ubers and the metro were easy to access. The hotel and lobby look lovely, but the rooms didn’t work well for our group. We booked two standard rooms and got very different setups: one had a balcony and a usable full-length mirror, while the other had neither. Storage was limited to a short hanging bar and a thin pull-out drawer, fine for one person but tight for two, especially in winter. The bed was hard and I could feel the springs. The room stayed stuffy despite trying the air conditioning several times, and I didn’t get a good night’s sleep during my four-night stay. We were apparently near a laundry storage room, because staff talking loudly outside woke us each morning. The shower floor was slippery, and our 80-year-old mum had a nasty fall. I’d suggest offering shower mats to older guests. Most staff were very nice, especially both barmen, though one was rude. With the poor beds and lack of storage, I wouldn’t return. It’s only suitable for an overnight stay.

I had a lovely weekend here with a friend. The rooms were very clean, the front desk was friendly and efficient, and the gym and rooftop were gorgeous. It’s outside the city center, but you can walk there in 25 minutes or take a quick, inexpensive Uber. I’d highly recommend the Turim.

We stopped here for a couple of nights while heading back to Canada from The Algarve. It’s a beautiful hotel close to the airport. As I’ve found at Turim Hotels, the staff were top-notch and went beyond being helpful. Everyone I’ve met across the Turim Hotels front desk, bar, and other teams has been professional, courteous, and willing to go the extra mile. The only issue in our room was some water collecting in the shower. I also tried to join Turim Club online and couldn’t, though I’m not sure if the website was having a problem.

We had a fabulous stay, with excellent service from arrival through room service and the bar staff. The rooms were modern, felt luxurious, and were good value. Parking was good, too. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops are only a few minutes away on foot. The hotel sits a little outside downtown, which meant we could enjoy a break from the busy center. I’d definitely recommend it.
