Marriott Executive Apartments City Center Doha

I spent two weeks in an apartment that was comfortable and well equipped, but the place felt old throughout and really needs a full renovation. The rooftop pool was dark, dated, and depressing. I took one quick dip and left. The gym was tiny, with old equipment, and the foam roller's inner tube was broken and crackled when I tried using it. Housekeeping was generally fine but stuck to the basics. A brown mark about a centimeter across was on the bathroom wall above the toilet at shoulder height. It stayed there for the whole two weeks until I wiped it off myself on the last day. There was a dish sponge but no dish soap. When I asked reception, they brought shower gel instead. This place has potential, but until it gets major work, I'd stay away.

The Premier One Bedroom Apartment was spacious, quiet, and clean, with a lovely view of the city. We spent two nights there, 11-13 Dec 2025, and had a great stay. Parking was plentiful and made things easy, and the staff were friendly and professional. I'd definitely recommend it.

The room smelled unpleasant, the bed had hair on it, and there were several mechanical problems in the washroom. Worst of all, I found blood stains on the couch pillows. The place was not clean or sanitary, and that's completely unacceptable. The website and social media photos are very misleading and don't show what the place is really like. The overall quality is poor, with cleanliness and maintenance below basic standards. I don't recommend staying here. This will definitely be my last visit.

The best thing about living here for a year on a long-term contract was the location, just a four-minute walk from city center. Housekeeping five days a week was a nice luxury: they took out rubbish, made the bed, changed the sheets, and replenished toilet paper once a week. The staff also provide towels at both the gym and pool. The building and furniture are old, though mostly clean, and there was visible wear on the floors, tiles, and carpets. Internet was terrible: a 15 MBPS connection shared across the apartment, with weak signal in some areas. The gym is small and gets crowded with more than four people, though it does have equipment.
