I contacted them to cancel just 20 minutes after booking, but they refused a refund and showed no understanding. That was frustrating enough, and then they stopped responding altogether: my calls weren't answered, my messages were ignored, and my emails got no reply. I felt dismissed. I know there are policies, but I expected basic professionalism and some effort to find a solution. There was no empathy or help at all. After this experience, I wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone.

The room could use a suitcase stand and some coat hooks, but it was clean and had good ventilation and heating. The bathroom was excellent, and the receptionist was polite and helpful. It's centrally located too.

For the price, I expected better. The room was mediocre and needs a lot of upkeep. There was plenty of mold in the bathroom, the closets wouldn't open, and it was noisy.

The rooms are roomy and nicely presented, and the staff were great. I liked the simple hotel with its slightly quirky look. Its location gives you the old town feel without being so close that sleep gets disturbed. I'd be very happy to stay again.

The breakfast was horrible, the view was of a collapsing building, and the bathroom had no amenities. We got a double bed even though we'd asked for a queen. There was no service, gym, reception, or anything. To me this felt like a zero-star hostel, not a four-star hotel. I don't know who rates hotels in Romania, but this makes it seem like there's no standard. Totally disappointing.
