Working remotely from here was easy thanks to the fast wifi, and check-in and check-out were both very simple. It’s a nicely renovated old building with a cafe and terrace open to the public during the day. The beds are comfortable, rooms are large with kitchenettes, and there’s no cleaning unless you ask, so it feels like home. More of an apart’hotel than a regular hotel, in a great spot in Cluj’s old town, close to the best restaurants and coffee places. Highly recommended.

We loved being on a quiet street, just outside the very center, with plenty of good places to eat nearby. We also found a real gem, Ruma Cocktail Tapas Bar, which was a pleasant surprise. Parking outside is paid, though free from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., so an evening arrival lets you leave the car overnight for free. At Camino 2, the host sent all the check-in details by personal WhatsApp, and the room code meant we could arrive any time without a key. Our room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated, with a kitchenette stocked with plates, mugs, glasses, complimentary water, coffee, and tea, plus a mini-bar. There was also an ironing board, air conditioning, and a very clean bathroom with a spacious shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. Communication was excellent, and it was a pleasant stay with good value in Cluj-Napoca. We’d definitely stay here again if we return.

My go-to place in Cluj. I had the ground-floor studio apartment, a huge space with a really comfortable king-size bed and a roomy, separate bathroom.
