Romantic Studio Mamaia

The owner was discreet and polite, though we never met her in person. We only saw her photo on WhatsApp, and she looked “Classy / Stylish,” which seemed to fit the Romantic Studio’s high standard and concept. It’s in a rather upscale building with 24/7 security, in a handy spot in northern Mamaia, very close to the beach. There’s no private parking from the owner, but there are plenty of spaces on the street or, if you’re lucky, around the building. Our room was spacious and very clean. The furniture and appliances were new or exceptionally well kept, and the sheets, towels, and toiletries were all good quality. The compact kitchen had everything needed for breakfast and light meals, and it was all well maintained. Prices seemed fair for the location and what’s provided. I gave it four stars because I’ve become a bit more “bitter” in my reviews, though it’s close to five. Congratulations to the owner. I’m less positive about Mamaia itself, but that’s another story.

We’ve stayed here several times, in two different rooms, and always had a really good time. Both rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and the terraces were gorgeous. This is our first review. The one drawback is the beach music, which can be very disruptive on some nights, especially weekends. Still, Otilia makes this a five-star location!
