Pensiunea Argesu

Really good food at super fair prices. The meat was tender and seasoned just right, and the cook clearly knows what they're doing. Our server was friendly and did a tremendous job. I highly recommend eating here.

The rooms are awful. I've posted pictures because it's terrible what people offer and pass off as acceptable. The food was reheated and tasteless, and the staff were uncultured and ill-mannered, to say the least. I don't think the worker could even pass a sanitary inspection, let alone serve food. A complete disappointment.

We had dinner here and really liked the food. Everything was nicely seasoned and garnished, the staff were friendly and proactive, and the place was clean with nice decor.

The location was good for the price, and the trains passing nonstop didn't bother us. But we paid more than the prices displayed at reception, which was odd, and the parking was full and made it hard to get out onto the main road. The staff were okay, but the rooms weren't as nice as they looked in the photos. The beds were very worn and noisy. One room in our apartment had no windows, and the window in the room we used wouldn't close. The bathrooms were in poor shape, with leaking water and a broken shower. An average stay, and not worth coming back for.
