Elite Stora Hotellet Jönköping

The setting is very cute. My room was clean and generous in size, and the breakfast was fresh and tasty. The pillow had just the right amount of firmness and softness.

The location is convenient, but the bar across from the hotel is so loud that it’s hard to sleep before midnight or later. The rooms are old, though okay and clean. Service said they’d email me a corrected invoice, but I had to ask again the following day.

Reception took great care of me and helped a lot during my stay. That kind of positive service really matters, and I hope to return someday. I spent two nights here, and my room was very nice, cleaned every day, and had an iron and kettle available. The bathroom was in very good condition and perfectly clean. Breakfast had a good variety, though I missed having a proper coffee machine, which is usually available in similar hotels.

The rooms are comfortable, and breakfast was fantastic. But the gym arrangement wasted my morning. I got up early, went to the lobby for a key pass, then tried the main entrance and couldn’t get in. Back at the hotel, I was told to use the rear entrance. I went there, but the key card was denied. They need to update the gym passes and tell guests how to use the facilities properly.
