The kitchen was very well equipped, and check-in was easy and pleasant with the self-service setup. There are a few parking spaces just outside, which worked well for us. It’s a little farther from the other accommodations, but it was quieter and less crowded, which made up for that. The place was clean and lovely. The walls are thin enough that you can hear next door, though most guests were quiet. On good nights, you might even see the northern lights from your room!

We booked two of the four first-floor rooms for four people after trekking the Fjällräven Classic Sweden. The hosts were friendly, and the place was neat and nice. It’s a 2.5KM walk from Abisko Turiststation, which could be tiring with luggage or after a big trek. There’s a supermarket about 200-300m away, handy for picking up necessities.

We spent six nights here after Christmas and had a lot of fun together. It was great meeting people from all over, and the atmosphere was good. The owners were friendly and let us use the sauna. The place is near the lake, a favorite spot for people watching and hunting for the northern lights.

A convenient spot for a few days in Abisko. The rooms were good, and the shared kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. We had a front room with a great view of the mountain and lake. It’s a small hostel with just four rooms, so it’s easy to meet other travelers and swap useful tips if you like. Check-in and checkout are self-service.

It’s a hikers’ hostel, and for that it works really well. The room is small, but has a large window where you can watch the Aurora from bed, and the bed itself is good and roomy. The shared kitchen and bathroom were clean. We liked meeting fellow travelers in the kitchen. A good choice in Abisko.
