The More Hotel Mazetti

The breakfast was the one letdown. The scrambled eggs were overcooked, the bacon was watery and boiled rather than fried, and there was no real butter, just margarine. We had a spacious room for four with a kitchen, and the location is perfect, close to most of Malmös good restaurants. I’ll stay here with my family whenever I’m in Malmö, just without ordering breakfast.

The room had a few safety issues. There was no “peep hole cover,” so someone in the hallway could see inside. The windows opened straight onto a private courtyard and had no screens. Only hotel guests could access the courtyard, but anyone could still reach the room through the open window since it’s on the first floor. There was no fan or air conditioning, so we had to leave the window open. The location was great and it was easy to find from the train station. We arrived late in the evening and had no trouble getting into our room using the instructions in the hotel’s email, since the front desk isn’t staffed 24/7.

We had a fantastic four-night stay. The rooms were lovely, quiet and comfortable, and we booked a suite with a sauna right in the room. Breakfast was lovely every morning too. We’d definitely stay again.

The apartment was spacious, spotless and had everything we needed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We slept well too, since it was quiet at night. The hotel is a short walk from restaurants, bars, shops and the central areas, though getting there from the central train station takes about 20-25 minutes on foot. We stayed three nights, enjoyed the excellent breakfast and felt it was good value.
