Vattengrändens Vandrarhem & Hotel

We found this place at the last minute around 00:30, when we needed somewhere to stay late at night, and were lucky to get a room. The staff were friendly over the phone, and checking in by email and text was quick and easy. Our double bed room with a private shower was clean and quiet. We hadn’t brought much with us, so it was a shame there weren’t extra things like shampoo, toothbrushes, or a hair dryer. There was body wash in the shower, though.

The room was comfortable, and it was great that you could adjust the bed’s firmness to suit how you like it at home. Clean linen and towels were ready when we arrived. There’s a small restaurant tucked in the corner downstairs, and the place is really nice and close to the river. Marin was a lovely host. She replied quickly with clear check-in and check-out details, and was always willing to go the extra mile to help us feel at home. Thanks for a very pleasant stay.

I had a lovely time during my stay in Sverige. This place feels like a little paradise in the heart of Sweden. Marin Can, the owner, was so warm and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend staying here when visiting Norrkoping. Wishing dear Marin Can and the owner all the best on her journey.

I stayed two nights, and checking out turned into an absolute nightmare. The owner said three towels were missing, but I told her I hadn’t taken any. She still charged me an extra 841kr for them, taking it from a deposit charged to my card without my consent. I hadn’t even been told I needed to pay a deposit. After the towel charge, I tried calling and texting, but she blocked me straight away. That attitude felt completely unprofessional. I feel she took my money from the deposit without permission, and the way I was treated was absolutely disgusting.
