The staff were wonderful and so friendly. They went out of their way to help whenever we needed it, and by the end they felt like friends. The hotel was always clean. The rooms are very small, though spotless, so be prepared for that. The location was perfect, with a ten-minute walk through the garden to the waterfront. We found the upscale restaurants around town had great prices. If walking is difficult, TAXI PRICES were dirt cheap. I only wish we'd known that at the start of our two-week trip. Try to get a reservation at THE GRAND HOTEL by the water for a delightful, very reasonably priced afternoon tea. Thank You, Kings Garden, for making us want to come back. We miss you all. The breakfast is excellent, and the location makes it easy to reach the city's sights. The hotel is in a charming old building in the centre, next to the well-known park of the same name. I chose a small room to save money. If you're staying a few days and can sleep in a medium-size double bed, it works fine.

The atrium where the restaurant sits is gorgeous, and the location is perfect. I had an excellent three-night stay at Hotel Kungsträdgården. The breakfast was included, tasty, varied and served for conveniently long hours. My small double room was indeed small, but just right for one, with a nice garden view, a comfortable bed and a great walk-in shower. The staff were lovely. At check-in, the concierge took time to point out Stockholm's highlights, and a few days beforehand I got an email offering concierge help, a nice luxury touch even though I didn't need it. The value for money was exceptional. Highly recommended.

The room was tiny, as you often find in European hotels, but the bathroom was very clean and modern. The place has plenty of charm, comfortable beds and the nicest staff. I arrived in Stockholm super early and couldn't believe they got me a room right away. I was so grateful. It's a gem in a beautiful, perfectly located spot. Five stars, and I can't wait to come back.

The room was spacious, with a king bed, a gas fireplace and plenty of room to unpack. The ceiling was maybe three metres high. It was peaceful and quiet, with a lovely breakfast, rainfall shower and soaking tub. We've stayed in many hotels, and this is among the finest in Europe.
