The bed was comfortable and the linen clean, so it was okay for a short stay. It’s cheap, reasonably cheerful and quite clean, and you get what you pay for. The bathroom had no hooks, the shower was iffy, the bath was worn out, and old towels were stashed in the wardrobe. The security lock was broken and there were just seven TV channels to choose from. Spend another $S 20 and there are much better options nearby.

The shower and toilet were incredibly dirty, and there was a big opening in the room for insects to get in. This place may have been useful many years ago, but now it’s the dirtiest hotel I’ve seen.

The air conditioning was the only good thing. The rest of the room facilities were awful: the toilet door wouldn’t close all the way, the wardrobe had no bar or hangers, and the shower pressure was weak. Apart from a toothbrush and mineral water, there were no other amenities. They charged extra at check-in even though I’d already paid when booking online. The photos on the website didn’t match what I actually saw. The worst hotel I’ve ever checked into, not worth a single star.

The room smelled of cigarettes when I went in, but it smelled better after I turned on the air conditioning. I was lucky to have a newly installed unit, so the temperature was nice. It was my first time staying here, and the stay was okay overall. I took off a star because the room wasn’t cleaned and the towels weren’t changed.
