Fraser Place Robertson Walk, Singapore

We spent six weeks at Fraser Place Robertson Walk while relocating to Singapore, and it was a wonderful place to begin our time here. The two-bedroom apartment had plenty of room and storage for suitcases and other large items. Staff were friendly and efficient, and whenever I called with a question or request, it was handled promptly, often within minutes. Breakfast was generous and varied enough that we didn’t get tired of it, which was a huge help with a young child. A special thank you to the breakfast staff, who were always cheerful and welcoming to our daughter. The pool and gym suited us well, and the kids’ playground and water play area were perfect for a toddler. I also enjoyed working on my laptop on the breezy third-floor patio a few afternoons. Restaurants, bars, a grocery store, and the river are only a few minutes’ walk away. The whole six-week stay was excellent.

We arrived early and needed a room for six hours before check-in, so we paid for half a day. They gave us the same room for the rest of the week, and housekeeping cleaned it well every day. They didn’t wash the dishes, though, and nobody told us we needed to do that ourselves until we asked a few days later. There was also a constant buzzing in the room, which we guessed came from the exhaust fan. Even with those issues, we were comfortable and happily walked to Chinatown, Arab Street, Little India, Clarke Quay, Jubilee Park, and Fort Canning Park. There are lots of restaurants and other places to eat nearby. We got a good welcome, but didn’t feel the price was justified.

The apartments are clean, spacious, and well equipped, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. It’s also in a good spot, with easy access to buses and Fort Canning MRT station. A great place to stay, and I’d definitely recommend it.

I spent two months here during my trip to Singapore and had a pleasant stay throughout. There are plenty of food options nearby, while the property itself is quiet. The area is nice, the rooms are clean, and the service was satisfying. Staff were always accommodating, and buses and the MRT are easy to reach. I’d recommend it.
