Goodwood Park Hotel

We especially enjoyed the lobby restaurant's afternoon high tea. The hotel is close to Orchard Road, shops, and transport, but set back from the main road, so it feels peaceful. We had a great stay and would return to Goodwood Park Hotel. We spent three nights here in March. Our recently renovated room was large and finished to a high standard, with a garden-facing balcony. The hotel's old Singapore charm was lovely, and staff were faultlessly helpful, friendly, and courteous. There are two excellent pools, plus several restaurants and shops. My one suggestion is to add changing rooms and showers by the pool, so guests don't have to go back to their rooms.

The lion and dragon dances at the hotel on New Year's Day were the highlight of our stay. The Chinese New Year decorations and preparation throughout the hotel were beautiful, and the gift bags in the rooms were a lovely touch. We had a fabulous stay at Goodwood Park over the start of Chinese New Year. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and there were two beautiful pools and plenty of good restaurants. Staff were polite and helpful from check-in through to checkout. Special thanks to Kris, the general manager, and Kim, the duty manager. Thanks, and we look forward to coming back :)

The rooms were spacious and well equipped, and anything we asked for arrived quickly. Rani made check-in smooth. For what we paid, the stay was close to perfect. The room service menu could offer a bit more, though.

The refrigerator door was a small frustration. Its wooden outer panel made it hard to shut properly, and it sometimes stayed ajar, leaving the inside icy. It wasn't a major problem, just something to keep in mind. The Loft gave our stay a more private, resort-like feel. It's in a separate building, reached by buggy from the main lobby. Inside, there's a spacious lounge area that worked well for getting some work done, with a cosy loft bedroom set apart from the living space. The kitchen's washing machine was handy, especially for a longer visit. We found the location convenient, with shops, restaurants, and transport a short walk away, while the hotel still felt calm and tucked away from the Orchard crowds. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. It was a comfortable stay with a distinctive atmosphere and thoughtful room layout, and I'd consider returning to Goodwood Park Singapore.
