Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore

I brought my bff Jean Danker and my aesthetic doctor Dr Jeanel for a meal hosted by F&B manager Bob and Kong. We loved the SNOW CRAB, sushi sashimi, and the Japanese riverside Izakaya grilled beef, seafood, chicken, cheese with meats, plus the alcohol, champagne, and other drinks. It was absolutely delicious, with 10/10 service. Breakfast was perfect, especially the Nutella chocolate toast I'd missed so much. I love GCW, one of the top hotels in town, and I absolutely adore it. Claire, Nee Tsu, and Bobby have been superb hosts to me and my close friends. I really enjoyed my stay. The 8 series rooms are huge, with an outstanding view over Robertson Quay, the pools, and rivers. I loved the quiet, the view, and the sense of privacy. The filtered water tap was impressive, the stylish sofa was lovely, and the super king bed was comfy. The Lobby Lounge is a favourite too. I often have business meetings there, and the outdoor terrace veranda has gorgeous furniture. The river view is lovely, and the dogs hanging around are always so cute. I also love the breakfast and buffet, which has very reasonable offers, and the parking is accessible.

SHIRLEY SEELAN at the front desk listened to our concerns and went out of her way to help when we hit a few snags during the stay. The property and service were great, and the staff were good too. I think the pricing is competitive, and you can get a good deal by booking ahead. We stayed in a suite on what I think was the first or second floor. It was awesome, with a huge balcony to ourselves overlooking the waterway and a beautiful city skyline.

The team made the meal feel special with attentive, genuinely warm service. Thanks to Yanmu, Jenny, Apple, and everyone who looked after us so kindly. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, with every dish comforting and nicely balanced. I had such a lovely experience at the hotel restaurant and would happily come back.

The pool is on the small side, but it didn't bother us. It was nearly empty most of the time, so relaxing there felt easy. Breakfast was outstanding, with lots of fresh, delicious options for different tastes. Our room was spotless, cleaned daily, and felt fresh and well looked after. Staff were very friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. There's also a small convenience shop on the ground floor for drinks, snacks, and other basics. The location worked well for us. The MRT is a 5-minute walk away, there's a 7-Eleven about 5 minutes away, and plenty of restaurants along the river make for a lovely evening atmosphere. We highly recommend the hotel. It deserves its 5-star rating.
