Greatwood Residence at Devonshire

We stayed for two weeks while our house was being renovated, and I'm glad we picked this place. The room was cosy for our family of four and perfectly comfortable. The location was ideal, and the receptionist was kind, easy to reach on Whatsapp and always ready to help. I'd definitely recommend it to families.

This was the worst hotel service I've had so far. I booked, then arrived on the day and at the time I'd given them. Even though I was already at the door and asked several times to be let in, the front desk person kept coming near the door but wouldn't open it. It was so hot that I was sweating, and she still wouldn't let me inside.

The location was really convenient, close to a fair price store market with very cheap groceries, as well as the MRT and bus stops. I came with my husband and daughter and booked a large room. It was spacious, had a separate kitchen, and gave us a great view of the street.

The room was clean and comfortable, with basic cooking and laundry facilities, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. For the money, the location is fabulous: restaurants, convenience stores and Orchard Road are nearby, Somerset metro station is a short walk away, and several other stations are a bit farther but still pleasant to walk to. The building is a little old and could use renovation. Small things like towel rails and bedside lamps would make the rooms much better. We stayed for eight nights in November 2023 and would consider coming back on our next trip.
