Hotel 81 Lavender

Good location, but you get what you pay for, and I wouldn't recommend it for families. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner.

At 10 pm when I checked into room 307, I told the front desk I wanted to extend my stay by a few hours. At 11 the next morning they called and told me to check out. When I tried to explain, the staff member, either Wilfred or Michael, was rude and said there was no proof I'd spoken to another employee, so I had to leave immediately. Even if they couldn't extend my time, they could have said it more politely. This was the worst Hotel 81 I've stayed at. Please teach them proper customer service. Hotel 81 princess and Hotel 81 palace do it best.

It's easy to find food nearby, whether you want a food court, local restaurant, or convenience store, and there's also a mini mart in the hotel. Lavender is the nearest MRT station. They let you store luggage for free for one day, which is handy if you want to walk around after checkout. The front desk was friendly. The room is small but enough for two, though you can hear outside noise through the slightly thin walls. It comes with coffee, tea, two bottles of water, body wash and hair wash in one pump, tissues, and a toothbrush. There's also a small fridge, kettle, and hair dryer. I had a pleasant stay. The price is affordable and it was comfortable enough.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and both the rooms and public areas were clean and tidy. We didn't hear road noise. The rooms are small, but had what I needed, including a personal safe I could use for free. The location made it easy to get to the sights and attractions, with both the EW Line and DT Line nearby. I just got back from a three-night stay and plan to come again next year. Thank you.
