Heritage Collection on Clarke Quay (SG Clean Certified)

Before I arrived, I got welcome texts and emails with clear instructions about what to prepare. Check-in is self-service, and you need to download an app to use your phone as the key for the building, elevator, and room. I liked how secure it felt, just remember to take your phone whenever you go out. Edmar met me when I arrived, walked me to my room, and was really nice and helpful. The place was perfect for me, with a great location and a cute, cozy little room good for one or two people.

The apartment was spacious and fully equipped, and having free laundry machines on the floor was handy. The hosts were attentive and checked in regularly to make sure everything was okay. The location made exploring easy: the metro was just a 1-2 minute walk away, Clarke Quay was steps away with lots of riverside restaurants, and Marina Bay and Orchard Road were about 20 minutes away. Our stay was fantastic and exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!

I was especially impressed for the price and will definitely stay again. It’s a great budget hotel with a reasonably sized, modern, clean room and good fittings, including a soft bed, decent desk, fridge, and microwave. You can request an iron and ironing board. Service over WhatsApp was prompt. It took me a minute to figure out using my phone as the key, but after that it was fine. The one small hassle was having to turn on the water heater 10 minutes before a shower.

The location is excellent for F1 weekend, about a 10-minute walk to the Empress Grandstand (Zone 4), and the customer service, responsiveness, and general cleanliness were good. But the poor soundproofing, limited laundry hours, lack of fresh linens and towels, and two nearby construction projects made this a difficult stay. The day before check-in, we were told the building next door had major construction starting at 8-9 a.m. The city was also repairing the pedestrian walk right in front. Every morning except Sunday, drilling and hammering woke me, loud enough to feel vibrations through the walls and bed. The final night was especially bad. Guests came back around 2:30 a.m., drunk and blasting music. The sound carried through my closed door, and when I tried to address it, I was ignored. Thankfully, staff replied quickly on WhatsApp and sent someone to quiet them down. I appreciate the friendly staff and responsive WhatsApp support, possibly AI-assisted, but the construction and disruptive guests soured the experience. The place felt more like a dorm with thin walls than a serviced apartment. I paid SGD $1680 for four nights, hotel prices for hostel-level comfort. I’d planned to stay at other properties from the same group, but will likely choose a proper hotel next time.
