Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong, an IHG Hotel

Hotel Indigo made our little one’s birthday celebration memorable, and our first staycation there was a wonderful experience. Wilson at the front desk heard that our child loves playing in the tub and kindly upgraded us to a room with a bathtub. I’d also arranged for a birthday cake to be delivered to the hotel. We arrived later than expected, and the staff kindly received it for me. The sliding door got stuck halfway during our stay. I called reception, and a staff member came quickly and fixed it right away. The service was prompt and efficient. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and helpful. We had a great stay and will definitely be back!

Breakfast at Baba Chew was nicely presented, with a small but enough buffet and warm dishes made to order. The staff were attentive, friendly, and quick. The room worked well for one person or a couple, with a comfortable, practical layout, and cafés, heritage sites, and shops were an easy walk away. I chose the hotel for its Peranakan character, and the design carried that through from the building itself to the interiors and little touches, including nostalgic local snacks. It felt thoughtful and rooted in the area. A charming boutique stay that left me with lovely memories.

The staff were the friendliest hotel hosts I've come across, and the breakfast team were just as lovely. Breakfast was worth the extra cost too, with local choices and a great buffet. Our room had beautiful decor, a comfortable bed, and good facilities, plus there was a lovely rooftop pool. We loved every part of our stay at Hotel Indigo. It was an incredible experience, and we'll definitely book here again on our next visit to Singapore.

The hotel's a little far from the CBD, and the Peranakan theme felt a bit overdone to me. But the hospitality was fabulous. From check-in and the welcome amenities in the room to the breakfast team at baba Chews, everyone was friendly and worked hard to make the stay memorable. I'll be back.
