The price was great, and the place was clean with helpful staff. It felt safe, people respected privacy, and the bed curtains plus the bedroom quiet rule helped. There weren’t many people around, with only about half the beds in the room occupied. The layout didn’t work for me. There were just two bathrooms and two showers, so I sometimes had to wait. The sinks were right beside the common area and breakfast room, near reception, with everything basically in one room. Breakfast was disappointing too. I expected more than toast and spreads like butter, peanut butter, and jam.

Meadows Hostel was clean and comfortable, and its convenient location made for an easy stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. A good option for budget travellers, and I’d recommend it.

The staff were friendly, and the stay included a clean towel and complimentary breakfast. There was also a water dispenser and a fridge. The bed was clean, and maybe I was just tired, but I found it comfortable. I didn’t notice any cockroaches or bed bugs. There are two bathrooms and two toilets, if I remember right, so there may be a queue. I didn’t have to wait, probably because I got up early. I found the reception’s position between the rooms and toilet a bit odd, though space is limited in Singapore. MRT Lavender is less than a ten-minute walk away. Highly recommended.

The location is fabulous, with a 7/11, food court, public gym, and pool all a five-minute walk away. The place was clean, the rooms sensibly arranged as little cubicles, and the sockets fit almost any type of charger. Free breakfast was a nice extra. There are only two bathrooms and toilets, but I never had to wait. Everything else was as you’d expect.

It’s cheap, but it wasn’t comfortable to stay here. The place wasn’t clean, I saw cockroaches, and bad smells came from nearby beds.
