The hotel and rooms were nice and clean, and the metro is right next door. It’s a good base for nearby cafes, and you can walk to Chinatown. Downtown is about 30min away on foot. The sky terrace felt a bit empty. It would be nice to have somewhere to sit and a little more decor. The pool was nice too, but could use some decor.

Justine, one of the restaurant waiters, made a real difference to our dining experience. He was warm, attentive and professional, and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and looked after. That positive attitude reflects very well on the hotel. The room could use a deeper clean and felt rather tired, though the bed was comfy and the shower and aircon were great. Staff were super friendly, and the washing machines and dryers on the 7th floor were easy to use. We only discovered on our last day that Outram underground station has its own hotel exit, no. 4. Chinatown and Maxwell Hawker market are a short walk away. A nice stay, especially handy for travellers.

Really good value, with reasonable bar prices and excellent service. The rooms are large and dated, but very comfortable, with a great bed and pillows and an amazing shower. A water filter tap in the bathroom was a big plus. There’s even a lift straight from MRT exit 4 to the hotel.

Getting around is easy: the metro is within walking distance, China Town is nearby, and Western union is 10 mints away for exchanging money at a good rate. The hotel has parking and co-operative staff, with continental food available. My room was cozy and great, and the hotel has a great view and all available facilities, including hi-tech amenities.
