ONE15 Marina Hotel Sentosa Cove

The yacht and boat backdrop, together with the decor, made a beautiful setting for our wedding at ONE°15 Marina. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, although a few parts felt slightly dated, and staff service was timely and efficient. My wife and I had an immaculate experience and a very memorable wedding day. Beck was my first contact, and from our first meeting through to the end, he was responsive and attentive. He replied almost immediately at any time of day and followed up quickly on questions and details that were still unclear. He also understood cultural and religious norms, which was a big plus for our multicultural wedding. We had a good feeling after meeting him, and he proved us right. Banquet manager Joyston was assigned to us on the day. I met him the day before to coordinate, and I was impressed that he remembered specific parts of our wedding itinerary. He worked smoothly with the bridal team, groomsmen and vendors to keep everything flowing. Though we worked with him only briefly, we're grateful for his excellent service.

We had to cancel our 2D1N staycation after the hotel told us, just the day before, that a system glitch meant they hadn’t recorded our Agoda booking. The hotel was fully booked, so there was no way to keep the stay. We got Agodacash from Agoda, but no compensation from the hotel. Scrambling for somewhere else at the last minute meant paying higher prices. Really disappointing and unreliable.

A couple I met through my work in the yacht industry taught me a lasting lesson about managing emotions. They were probably in their 70s. After a nice event with several car brands, their car had trouble around 1 or 2 am, long after everyone else had gone. I stayed with them until help arrived. They could have been tired and annoyed, but stayed calm and collected. Thank you, K family 😘

The breakfast was below average, and apart from one young gentleman who seemed to be of Indian ethnicity and gave excellent service and communicated well, the staff fell short of what I expected. Reception staff were nice, but there was no proper welcome and the place didn’t feel like a five-star resort. When we arrived after 10pm, there was no bellboy, so we had to haul our huge suitcases down stairs and onto the elevator. Calls to reception for water often went unanswered, and on departure day I called several times before having to go down to the lobby to ask for a bellboy. The room felt more like 3.5 to 4 star quality, and I paid over 750AUD a night for what was, to me, a below-average hotel. I wanted to like it, and I’m sorry to leave a negative review, but paying that much really put a dent in the experience.
