PARKROYAL on Beach Road, Singapore

The hotel is only a 15min drive from the airport, and we stayed five nights. There's a bus stop right outside, and across the road is little India with lots of places to eat, particularly good for halal food, and the famous Grand Sultan mosque. I was surprised to find the hotel connects to a building with shops, including a 7/11 and a minimart, which was really convenient. The room was super clean. We had breakfast one morning, and there was a great selection. We had a great time and I'd highly recommend the hotel.

Jessie at reception looked after us so well, and the staff were wonderfully friendly. The rooms were modern, exceptionally clean, and relaxing. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar. The hotel is sleek and modern, in a great location with excellent public transport right outside for getting anywhere in the city. We only had breakfast there once, but the selection of international and local foods was extensive. I'd happily stay again.

The food and service at the wedding banquet were a real plus. The canapés and banquet courses were well prepared and arrived without delays, service was prompt and efficient, and portions were generous. Whether it's a Cantonese banquet menu or lunch spread, the feedback is that it's tasty and satisfying, with no major complaints. ParkRoyal on Beach Road feels like a sleek celebration spot in the middle of the city. The ballrooms are bright and elegant, with high ceilings and large windows that bring in warm light and look great in photos. Couples like the open spaces and modern feel, which make a wedding special without being stuffy. Thumbs up to the team!

Rooms are large, clean, and comfortable, and the location is fantastic. Malls, metro, and Arab Street are all a few minutes' walk away, with a bus stop right outside the entrance, so getting around the city is easy. Housekeeping could be better staffed during busy periods. We left at 8am and came back at 3pm to an unmade room. After two calls, it was finally cleaned by 4pm. That's not premium service and fell short compared with the rest of the hotel. Still, we'd definitely recommend it and stay again.
