The Tiny Home team was very responsive, and booking everything was a great experience. We were three friends with two dogs at house 2000. The place was okay and had the basics, but when they say there's nothing there, they really mean nothing. The one clear plus was that it was pet friendly, and it was quiet if you want to avoid crowds. We saw fewer than 10 people in 12 hours. Still, with the ferry, parking, our own food, and everything else, it came to almost $600. The price and effort to get there weren't worth it for us. Sorry, it just wasn't our thing.

Our biggest issue was the bugs: there was a large lizard on the wall, clicking through both nights we stayed. I don't blame Tiny Away or the island, it's part of being out in nature, and we were still glad to have a memorable holiday with our furbaby. We stayed in 2017, the house closest to the jetty, and enjoyed the peaceful break from city and work life, with its biodiversity and wide, clean green spaces. The house was clean and had enough amenities. It was especially dog friendly, with a dog bed our furbaby used and a pet water bowl. Little things like the extension plug for an outdoor BBQ, hairdryer, and card game showed thoughtfulness.

The ferry and the team's correspondence were seamless, and the prompt emails made it clear what we needed to do before arriving. We were pleasantly surprised that the convenience store was back open, after it seemed to have closed in 2025. We brought our own food and water, but really appreciated the snacks. I got 2017 for a night this past weekend and had a lovely time: it was peaceful, we went to the beach before the rain, which my bf enjoyed, cooked on the small grill, and watched Netflix. Thinly sliced meat seemed a good fit for the grill, based on other reviewers. For everyone, this is probably the fanciest outdoors experience with an adjoining bathroom. We caught a bit of the septic tank smell that someone had mentioned, so I brought a candle to keep things smelling nice. With the aircon or fan circulating, it was fine. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you again, Tiny Away!

We slept really well because the bed was super comfortable. Our house was 2017, though I probably wouldn't choose that one again. Its only windows face forward, unlike other units that seem to have front and side views, while the price is the same as the other four-bed tiny houses. The room looked clean, with occasional small flies on the bed, which I found acceptable. The composter smelled, and the toilet was a little musty. There isn't much service, though snacks were included and free to eat. It wasn't very windy, so grilling outside attracted flies. We gave up and grilled inside.
