Hostel Petit

The room was just right for our one-night stay, warm, very clean, and nicely styled. Le Petit is also in a great spot, close to the old town and other attractions, so exploring the city was easy. Our check-in and check-out were both smooth, and the staff were kind and helpful around the clock. They let us leave our luggage for a few hours after check-out while we saw a bit more of the city. My boyfriend had mentioned our anniversary when booking, and they surprised us with the lovely touches shown in the photos and a very sweet note. Such a thoughtful gesture!

Being so close to the Old Town meant I could walk pretty much anywhere. I felt comfortable and safe as a solo traveler, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. I especially appreciated having a kettle, tea, and coffee in the room. The one downside was the very thin walls. My neighbors were loud on my first night, so you might want to bring earplugs.

The location was good, the place was reasonably clean, and the reception answered my questions promptly. Breakfast was okay, and it was quiet at night. The bed was a sofa bed that converted, rather than a proper bed.

A nice hotel at a reasonable price. The staff were helpful, and breakfast at the cafe next door was lovely. My son especially loved the lift!
