The city centre is walkable from here, and you get a free welcome drink at the cafe next door, which is a nice touch. Rooms were clean and self check-in was easy. The luggage storage is a coded box where everyone puts their bags, so it’s always packed. Taxis can’t drive down the street.

The welcoming feel made the trip for me. Sebastian went out of his way to include everyone and make sure we were having a good time. It’s a rare combination to find somewhere that’s both spotless and this friendly, and the place was very easy to find and get into.

Meeting Sebastian was a real pleasure. He was so helpful and gave me loads of great tips about the city, which made our stay better. It’s a great place, and the cafeteria is fantastic. I’d definitely recommend it.

The bed curtain only covered part of the bed and let light through, and the mattress sagged. When guests moved around below, the bed shook noticeably. The tall doors had electronic locks that made a very loud noise opening and closing. Sleep was impossible, even with earplugs. Heavy bass from the nightclub next door went on until around 7 a.m., mixed with loud people and tram noise. Some guests in the room were snoring or intoxicated, and around 4 a.m. a few couldn’t take it anymore and left early. I honestly don’t see how people are meant to rest in this accommodation. Guests should be told clearly about these conditions in advance. Being kept awake all night like that felt like torture.
