YALI Hotel & Resort

Miguel and Liset provided great food service, and the food itself was okay. But the rooms were filthy and clearly not maintained, and the bathrooms were dirty and falling apart. We had to ask housekeeping to clean them. There was bird droppings outside our door, so we had to jump over them to get in and out. We stayed from december 30 to January 1, and on december 31 the kitchen closed at 5pm with no service after that. The guard who was meant to sell us drinks if we needed any was too busy with a girl, then left. This was a horrible experience at Yali. If you're worried about your health, stay away, it could ruin your vacation. I will never come back. I wish I could post pictures.

The pool and rooms were nice, and the food and service were great. We stopped by for the afternoon with friends and family. I'd come back.

I checked out while feeling very ill and forgot my purse. When I called just an hour later, they said they couldn't find it. I went back to look into it and talk to the manager. At first, the employees insisted nothing had been found in the room, then my purse suddenly appeared. I checked my wallet and $80.00 was missing. They said they'd reimburse me, but 20 days have passed and I still haven't received it. The employees never let me speak to the manager. Terrible experience. DO NOT STAY HERE, THEY ARE THIEVES. BE WARE.

The food was alright, and at least the hotel has AC. But the room smelled awful, and the bathroom stank even worse. The Wi-Fi in the description isn't accurate: you have to go all the way to the restaurant to get a signal. Bring a Wi-Fi router if you stay. The whole hotel felt unsanitary. Don't come back here, this is the most important review to read. This was my experience, and I'll never return.
